| Too Bad Dogs was born out of a horrible situation. My wife was injured at work and eventually became totally disabled. As her disability progressed she became more and more depressed. Her depression worsened when she had to quit working. Then she found she could no longer even do the hobbies that had given her such enjoyment before the injury. First we looked for adaptive tools designed to help people continue with their hobbies. They were either too expensive or didn't exist. Being handy, I started designing and creating things so she could continue with a few hobbies. Thus Too Bad Dogs,Inc. was born!

Many people ask us how we got the name Too Bad Dogs, Inc. We live in a small town on the Western Slopes of Colorado. Our family consists of 2 wonderful sons, an awesome daughter-in-law, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 tanks of fish and anything else my wife can mother. When we were trying to decide on a name for the company the dogs were barking. We looked at each other and the idea hit. Why not name the company after the dogs? Hence the name Too Bad Dogs Inc.
