This is a wonderful shadow box to display quilled miniatures or other things. The box is 11.75 inches tall, 7 7/8 inches wide, 2 inches deep (closed) and the inner depth is 1 5/8 inch! Plenty of room to show off your prized creations.
Because of the wide frame on the door, when the box is closed the dimensions of what you see changes. The wooden frame surrounding the glass ( the glass measures 6 5/16 inches) measures 1 15/16 inches wide.
Below you'll see a table that represents the sections of the Shadow Box. All sections are 1 1/16 inches deep. The table below that one gives you the display area of each section with the lid open and then closed. This box is a great value.
